Our Goals
Our goals are simple, but will significantly contribute to the health and well-being of the community. We seek to:
- Provide and maintain an undisturbed natural area for recreation and educational opportunities for current and future generations
- Save a portion of the rapidly disappearing tree canopy and the inherent benefits it provides to our quality of life
- Preserve habitat for both plants and animals
- Classify and protect flora and fauna native to the greenspace. Re-establish native plants in addition to those currently found on the property (trilliums, wild azaleas, bog plants, etc.)
- Support ongoing programs for removal of invasive plant species
- Educate our young people on the importance of Conservation and Environment protection by engaging interested residents of our community, providing for community service activities and by seeking professional assistance
